Visit This Mystery City Now…Before It Is Too Late

There is one mystery city that continues to ring in my ear louder and louder. The momentum and the endorsement of those supporting this city is growing by the day.

What is it? Can I tell you? Maybe…

But first, rather then come straight out and tell you I am going to reveal to you some clues and reasons why you cannot miss this city. If you can figure it out, we have this mystery city nailed. And it is no longer a mystery city any longer.

Clue # 1 – This former capital and university city lies on the banks of a beautiful river.

The Beautiful Vistula River runs through this country, and streams down the banks of the city.

Clue # 2 – This mystery city has one of the most beautiful town squares in all of Europe.

The Rynek Glowny as it is affectionately called is lined with people that drank too much vodka, the most amount of pubs per square km in the world, and several beautiful art and historical artifacts. It is lively all hours of the night, and you can usually spot people dancing in the wee hours of the night.

Clue # 3 – The country where this city is located is known for it’s magnificently tasting Vodka.

This clue probably gives the city away quickly. Known for the best and sweet tasting Vodka in the world! In this city, you might even think your vodka is a glass of orange juice! Be careful folks.

Clue # 4 – The city is crowned as Capital of Gourmet.

With world renowned chefs cooking every type of cuisine under the sun, you will not be disappointed in this city. Some of the World’s and Europe’s best restaurants can be found here.

Clue # 5 – The city and it’s surroundings features two UNESCO World Heritage sites.

Historical artifacts and history buffs will be in awe of this great city. One of the artifacts is found right within the city, the other is a famous Memoriam for Holocaust Victims located about 40 minutes outside the city.

Guess the city? I am sure most of it you have gotten it by now. If you haven’t….. it is Krakow, Poland. Travel blog after travel blog, and person after person, and podcast after podcast keep mentioning this city. Finally, I decided I am not only going to visit the city, but I am going to write about this city as well.

The beauty and opulence of this city is growing by the day, and the visitors are too. That is why I recommend everyone to get to this city before it becomes just another touristy overrun city.

Other reasons why you need to visit Krakow now!

  • The prices. How about a pint of beer for $2 euros? That is farfetched in Paris or London. The other good news, the beer is better here. How about a $5 boat tour of the city down the Vistula river? Or how about some of the best food in Europe for under $10 US dollars?
  • The location. Take a side trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial, or the Wieliczka salt mine, the Jurassic Valleys, or many other of the other beautiful surrounding areas and sights. If you want to visit the now Capital city in Warsaw, it only takes about 2 hours by train.

This mystery city is gaining momentum, especially in Europe. It has reached the top of my bucket list, how about yours? Do you have any interest in going to Krakow? Or have you gone already? Post in the comments below!
